Citizen Kane has been called the greatest film of all time by a number of people (that number is estimated to be somewhere around a gillion). But we here at Singletree Productions asked ourselves, “why is this film okay with just being called that? Doesn’t it want more?” And that’s when we thought it would also want to be called the greatest REMAKE of all time.

So we made a trailer for KANE.

And awesomely enough, Cinematical and /Film have picked up on it.

KANE follows Charles Foster Kane, a newspaper man in a digital age. His paper is dying, like all newspapers. But, he discovers that, if he can destroy his enemy, he can save his paper. That is what Kane takes a vow to destroy the internet. He doesn’t know how, but he knows he has guts and guns, and according to Kane, “that’s all you fucking need to get the job done. And climb the Aggro Crag.”

Please, spread the word. We can save Citizen Kane forever by remaking it into a mindless, ridiculous action film. It might stop all remakes forever. Probably not, though.

Also, if you have $150 million, we could use it.
